I spread myself way too thin.
"Do you know that you look seducing and sort of gay?"
*laughs* "yeah i know that. Never mind lah, still sexy"
Yeah, it went on something like that.
Boarding the plane for 6 hours to Japan or so was rather less exciting as i how i had pictured it would be. Long bus rides was sooooooo much better. Although, the sky started to turn dark at 5pm. In other words, 5pm (Japan time) is equivalent to 8pm(Spore time). PICTURE THAT!
Anyway. The food there got better day by day. We were provided with seafood everyday, for almost every meal. I recall having served salmon almost every meal but it was good though. Hhaha. We had climbed Mt Aso on foot while some people decided to take the cable car instead and seen, with our very naked eye, a real active volcano. It was worth it, given that the view was rather magnificent. I remembered hearing everyone whining while walking but apparently, the feeling of excitement took over once we've reached the top (its not the peak anyway).
We were treated like a royal when in one of the local schools, Genkai Junior High School. The band members started playing the moment we stepped into their gym. The teachers were ushered to their seats along the side while all of us were being ushered to our seats prepared on the stage. It felt awkward initially cause i felt all eyes were darting towards us, everyone was watching us, everyone sincerely dedicated that few minutes of silence to us. It was a pleasure having to meet my partner, although i wish it was a girl. Both my partner and i were having a hard time communicating as we speak 2 diff. languages. Given that i only learned the basics, we were seriously in need of a translator. And lucky us that we decided to use sign language instead. Plus, i never knew that there were MOE officials until dinner time. Hah.
We too, experienced typhoon and earthquake. I cant imagined that happened to Spore. Needless to say, the feeling was beyond words can say. I dont know how to feel at that point of time except being afraid, of course.
We've seen how a car is made or formed or whatever the term is, from scratch. They managed to produce 300 cars in half a day. I've experienced sleeping on a futon. Oh, and did i mentioned that the hotel staffs even willingly helped us open the door and prepared the futons that were found inside a wardrobe when we first came in. Japanese people are reallyreally nice people, that i can say. Needless to say, i miss Japan. Not just me, but also some other people. Although it was only a week long, it was easy for me to feel attached to the country.
I remembered the teachers reprimanded some of us for the things that we did which they had approved of the night before. We were mad at them for contradicting their own words. I swear we were pissed with them for a little while and did the punishment unwillingly. *sigh*
On the last night, after each group performed our items, it was finally time for expressing our gratitude and such. Ms T had tears at the brim of her eyes. I guessed she was moved by some of our words. We had a good laugh together, we experienced good and bad times together and still managed to stay together.
Kay, i'll prolly should stop here lest this post would became more draggy. Pictures will be on FB only.
3 days after coming back from Japan, i had to attend the SL camp. It was rather a leisure camp for GMs. We played games throughout the camp. At least, i now made some new friends. Yeah, and of course they were lectures and rendition. It was a great night. It was a great camp with great companions. and thanks to everyone who sang bday song for me right when the clock ticks at 12AM. Plus, watching night sky together with Esty Ani Fatin Ifa and the malay boys was fun! hhhaha, should do that more often!
